Question Chopper Carrying More Than One Vehicle?

Hi - I am experiencing a little frustration in that I would like to be able to carry more than one motorcycle scout squad per large helicopter. These are S. African motorcycle scouts (5 men per squad) and the date of the scenario is 2003. It does not make sense to me that a huge Chinook should be considered 'full' if it carries one single motorcycle squad.

I have been playing with the OOB editor without much luck. I can give an infantry unit a motorcycles movement allowance but the editor will not let me substitute the appropriate icon, for example. If anyone has some insights into how a big Chinook can carry more than one tiny bike, I am open to your suggestions and thoughts. Thanks in advance!

Default Re: Chopper Carrying More Than One Vehicle?

OK - I figured it out. I am embarrassed at the amount of time it took for me to figure this one out.

First you load up some standard infantry (or scouts) onto the chopper.

Then you go into the scenario editor, and change the loaded units from standard infantry to MC Scouts, and hit the 'save' button.

When you go back into the scenario, voila - five MC infantry units are neatly loaded onto the Chinook.

Now...I would not recommend folks use this technique to load five M1 Abrams onto a chopper! But for five dirt bikes? No guilt here! Thanks for listening!
