Default Banefire effect for a weapon?

Is there something that could be used to create a banefire effect ala small area fire or perhaps the banefire burst of the banefire crossbow with the help of #secondaryeffect? I'd need it for the terrifying whip wielded by the even more terrifying Angel of Death.

Also, if I put more than one attack on a weapon, will the #secondaryeffect also trigger many times?

Banefire is unresistable damage that has the secondary effect of Decay. As such, you can do your own Small Area Banefire, if you can find an existing Decay effect (that can be resisted).

#newweapon 958
#name "Area Bane Fire"
#dmg 10
#nostr
#armorpiercing
#magic
#aoe 2
#specialeffectalways Decay
#end

If you want to get fancy, experiment with different #explspr and #sound effects. One of sounds 16, 18 or 25 could work.

Well, just be sure to check if a weapon named "Decay" exists! I just threw something in there.

I'm pretty sure that Baneblades have Decay as secondary effect.
