Default mod: Expeditions iOS

iOS version completed, and a few bugs fixed.


GENERAL DESCRIPTION (no spoilers)
  • Two new races, with a possible ally and a quest for one of them
  • Time capsules now can be opened
  • Additional items and quests, plus some of my favorite ships, items, weapons, etc for other people's mods (see ReadMe and credits)
  • New colors for everyone (and everything) - blue UI and color-coded text

TIPS
  • Read the race descriptions. Lore might indicate something useful.
  • You've got to be able to talk to a race if you hope to make peace with them
  • Time Capsules are useless if opened, but maybe the contents are worth it.
  • Time Capsule descriptions can give you a consistant warning of hazardous contents.
  • You should revisit planets once you're capable of exploring their terrain.

Version History (MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS)

Version 0.4
  • quests-TLE fighter quest now random, so it's random if you can talk to TLE and trigger the mothership quest.
  • quests-fixed tank quests
  • quests-added Mantle quest back in, but only for Urluquai
  • -items-brought in Zorg missle
  • -items-removed the gluon gun (firing gfx wore not working on iOS), and minefield (scared it'd crash on iOS)
  • -races-Adjusted Kla'kar to use Bentusi ships.
  • -races-added Muktian frigate and Zorg frigate
  • -color-coded all in game text since I have it all. Colors listed in race_colors.txt.
  • -another new Tan Ru planet (and on intro)

Huh, my messing w. the Kla'kar has reduced them to only appearing at their homeworld. I'll fix that up w. the next release.
