Default How do you view a 2H file

How do you view an old 2H file that you sent?

Do you still have the file and want to make sense of it?

I think the trn file is the actual turn data itself, 2h is just the decisions you made which has no substance without the corresponding trn file.

Depending on your mail provider (assuming PBEM) you may be able to retrieve the .2h file from your "outbox", then download the corresponding .trn file from your "inbox" and put them together in a new folder inside your "savedgames" folder. That should allow you to view the orders exactly as they were when you sent them.

For direct connect I think the 2h files for old turns are lost, not sure though.

Setting up a game on Gandalf's server GP gave me the option of having each turns files emailed. So it seems to be an option to save them or not to, but thats just GP's server.

"to Host"

It's the file you email to the person running the server.
