USMC IMO,as they were trained for amphip and jungle assults(exp and morale) which in an camp.you will surely need.
Even in a meeting engagements better to have trained grunts.
Should not make map too large than your leg units and not rely on halftracks to boost infty speed.
Stuarts and bazookas are all you'll need against JIA armour, also just IMHO.
Thanks Gila.
I started the campaign with the U.S. in May 42. With USMC just beginning in August. I hope that when you arrive in August to buy units of marines.
It is the third time I begin a long campaign with the U.S. The first time I bought the team 42 but my tanks were stuck. Is that the first battles in Aleutian Islands do not work for vehicles, is a very difficult terrain. So start with pure infantry. I'll try a map a bit smaller but not too much because the Japanese have a lot of artillery. When battles are in Guadalcanal (the second season ended there) I will buy more cars.
Start a campaign and tell me how they are doing.

Very few have come to this post. But no matter. I'll take it as personal notes.
It is the third time I start with the long U.S. campaign Now I tried to start with full force. With 200 units. So I have:
- 5 Co Team 42
- 4 AAA / T Platoon
- 4 Artillery OP / M
- 4 Mech mg Platoon
- Bn Heavy arty
- 15 SP mortar Platoon

With that I'm staying at the Japanese infantry and aviation. I'm coming to the conclusion that the Japanese infantry is almost indestructible. Much stronger than the U.S. infantry. I had few problems of immobilization of vehicles despite the ground.

Those Japs are tough! Btw, Why don't you try starting out with a smaller force?

Tip:get those SMG squads into the fight, they can kill a lot more than rifles, and the only way to beat the japanese is to kill them, they refuse to disperse or rout

Hello. Yes. The previous times I started with a smaller force. But I to play with small maps Japanese infantry was soon over. Now even I have the Japanese infantry almost over mine. But my tanks and artillery they put on the brakes. It is important in the early battles to counter Japan's aviation. They have many planes. I'll find the balance but so far with the strength that I chose I'm fine.
