Did the DL version show up this way as well? There was no change to that part of the code AFAIK. Does it do that in all screen resolutions ?
I didn't have the DL version on my PC, just on the Laptop. I will go through all the resolutions and see if its some or all. On the Laptop the DL version works fine in both modes at both screen resolutions.
Have you got a double decker, or LHS, or disapearing task bar set up in contraindication of what is said about the task bar in the manual?. (Task bar muxt be windows standard 1 line deep, at the bottom of the screen, and fixed, ie no "auto hide" ). The auto-hide is the main killer I think - as it totally messes up the screen size returned to the call that gets the windows x,y size.

Cheers
Andy

You know, one day I WILL read (and understand) the entire manual.

That was sure enough the problem.
