Newb modding question, im sure

Being new to a) the forums, and b) modding this game, would anyone care to provide me with some helpful tips or hints for making sprites for this game?

If you don't have GIMP, it's free so download it, unless you already have a paint program.

Glad to help. We can always use more modders. Though the more active ones we have now are cranking out a lot of good stuff.
