As I pointed out earlier, with sources, UK has not destroyed all its mine stocks of any type and has retained some for use "in exceptional" circumstances", ie, a major war.

If mines are pulled from current UK forces in the game and I'm playing against a major power, I will simply use 'allied' mines to allow for the fact that UK has not in fact given them up at all.

Not sure if the same applies to cluster munitions. Cluster Bombs were taken out of RAF service in 2008 but as of 2012 UK still had stocks that had not been destroyed.

In general terms arms control treaties never favour anyone except those who don't sign them and those who cheat.

Yes well I would probably have sooner dropped them on Saudi, but that's just me...
