Default Windows Logon

Hi Again
When I log into the game I get an error messsage about writing to an ini file. I start at the help page and no games are autosaved. I think this is because I log on using a normal user account rather than an administrator account. None of this worries me, but I thought it might be of interest to someone.
Best Regards Chuck.

That has nothing to do with the game in itself.

The reason for your error message is that your account needs read/write access to the directory where spww2 is stored.

Simply change the access rights of your account (or let them change by your administrator) and everything will be fine. You do not need, however, administrator rights to play the game.

cheers

Hi Desert Fox.
As far as I can tell I have read write access to the schrapnel folder and its subfolders. Maybe the problem is that the game isnt installed on the boot disk C: but on D:?
Best Regards Chuck.

It doesn't make a difference on which drive you use. My copy is on drive M: on my machine and is working fine.
