Default Questions regarding resources for "Case Blue"

Hello Gentlemen,

Anybody here know of any scenarios, maps or individual campaign scenarios / maps that cover Fall Blau or for that matter Unternehmen Wintergewitter other than the ones already in game?

Is anybody working on anything of this kind?

I am particularly interested in Wintergewitter, especially the fighting on the Myschkowa river.

I'm thinking of updating a few older scenarios from reincarnations past of SPWW2 or porting others into SPWW2 from SPWAW or SSI antiquity. To do that, however, I need to know where to look.

Exclamation Re: Stalingrad scenarios ...

I have copied the thread from the MBT forum ( Height Maps...STICKY)with the links to the Venhola map creation information. If you want a scenario based on a specific area this goes a long ( long ) way to speed up the map creation process.....all you need is latitude and longitude

Thankyou Don.

That will certainly come in handy when I get round to mapping bits of the city out. I was thinking the Mamayev Kurgan would be a good start.

I need a bit more than just the coords though. I need some good photos / plans of the city around the hill contemporary to the battle.

I'll see what the community has to offer.

I've found these aerial recon photos (German in origin, I believe). They are quite something!

Yes, they certainly are. For anyone making a game map it doesn't get any better than that and those Stalingrad photos are only a small part of the overall total. It would take many hours to view all that's available here
