Default Problem with resolutions

I recently copied Dominions 3 from my old computer to my new computer, which is able to have a higher resolution. However, when I click the resolution(It is clickable) nothing happens. It works with the lower resolutions too. Can someone please help?

Thanks.

Need more info. Graphics card, driver version, operating system, Dominions version, what resolution your monitor can run etc etc.

Operating system is vista. My graphics card is an 8600 GM Nvidia card. The resolution I wanna run (and is my native resolution) is 1920 by 1200. The dominions version is 3.14. Thanks for any help. I also tried re inputting my cd key, but it didn't help

That resolution should work with that Dom version, but the question becomes whether your drivers are up to date. Vista has had more problems than XP. Try updating the drivers (or downgrading, as it may be) so they have proper OpenGL support.

Glad to hear that. The 1920x1200 resolution had quite a few problems with a couple of patches, so it may only have been properly fixed in 3.15 if there were residual issues.
