Default Starfury Problems

When I click the play button, the screen flickers, but then crashes back to windows with this error message.

Exception EInvalidOP in module STARFURY.EXE at 00084EFE. Invalid flating point operation.

And then the screen flickers again and it is immediately followed by another error.

Access violation at address 0040561C in module 'STARFURY.EXE'. Read of address 7000B124.

Here is the system specs for my computer.

Operating System: Windows Me (4.90, Build 3000)
Processor: AMD-K6(tm) 3D processor, MMX, 3DNow, ~500MHz
Memory: 224MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0a (4.09.0000.0901)
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X

A couple of tips:
1) Make sure you have downloaded and run the patch for StarFury.
2) Update DirectX 9a to 9b
3) Get the latest sound card drivers for your card. Sound cards have proven to be an issue in the past, especially sound bLasters with older drivers (but the SF patch addresses this I believe)
4) Get the latest video card drivers.
5) Patch your OS if needed (just use Windows Update)

I can't help but notice your machine is a little old... StarFury should run on it just fine though. Looks like the newest thing in it is the video card.

The two will hover, spinning inches above the ground. With a giant buttered cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.

Got it working finally. The video card drivers needed updating.

About the wierd machine, yeah, haven't had the money to do a full upgrade, so I just upgrade stuff in bits and pieces.
