Brest*
*
After all the bloody hedgerow slogging, our men are glad to have been pulled out of the front for now.
However, more heavy fighting awaits: While most of our forces are raising hell all over France, chasing the Germans and stealing kisses from liberated French girls, we are tasked with helping to capture the city of Brest, miles behind the line.
The Germans have declared this city a fortress and the garrison is supposed to fight to the death.
Command wants its port to ship supplies to our forces in the field, so you will have to fight your way in.

*
However, before the attack on the city can begin, you have been assigned to Task Force Sugar. Together with the 2nd Ranger Bataillon you will clear the le Conquet peninsula west of Brest.
The main objective here is the Graf Spee battery, consisting of 4 huge 280mm guns that have been causing plenty of havoc among our men.
*
*
Objectives: Capture Tremeur and Saint Martin. Destroy and capture the Graf Spee battery.*
*
Enemy: The defending troops mostly consist of the 343rd Infanterie Division. This is a static division, so its equipment and training are probably sub-par. However, they are dug in and have had all the time they needed to fortify this region to their liking.
*
*
A Ranger company has already infiltrated through the German lines and is poised to strike at the battery.
It is up to you if you let them press the attack or play it safe and reinforce them with your own troops.
*
*
2 155mm self propelled guns have been assigned to Task Force Sugar to knock out enemy strongpoints.
