FireForce: Innocence Lost*

March 11, 1978*

There were many civilian casualties during the war. The unfortunate local populace were torn between the two sides of the conflict. If they sheltered and fed the guerrillas, their homes and livestock were destroyed by the security forces. If they refused to help the guerrillas or informed on them they were killed as "sellouts".*
*
Every day on the radio and TV, Combined Operations Headquarters announced that a number of black civilians had been killed in the crossfire.*
*
Who could know if a half-seen figure darting through the bush was a fleeing guerrilla or just a terrified civilian? If in doubt, shoot. It kept you alive.*
*
RLI forces are to conduct a raid on a village suspected of aiding guerrilla forces. Security forces believe that a high-ranking rebel leader is using this village to conduct a meeting with village elders. Kill or capture this leader. Be warned that the fields to the northwest and northeast are unsuitable for parachute landing.*

Marginal or Decisive Victory is necessary to advance*
