FireForce: Night Ambush*
*
April 1, 1978*
*
Intelligence reports indicate that a substantial number of guerrillas are moving through the roads east of Mtoko. RLI units of 3 Commando are to embark by truck and conduct a series of night ambushes.*
*
Unfortunately, weather predictions are for a cloudless night under a full moon. Still, it is felt that RLI experience in performing night operations will overcome the enemy's experience with the area.*
*
RLI units will move up two routes. The southern route should be used to transit to the ambush site while the remainder of the units will sweep the northern route for guerrillas. The northern route may be mined. Units using this route should carefully make their way on foot to the township where a number of vehicles, including a pookie minesweeper, are waiting.*
*
Marginal or Decisive Victory is necessary to advance*
