King Khalid Airbase is secured after huge losses on the British side. Saudi National Guard daytime counterattack is repulsed as well with support of the RAF.

Few combat capable Paras provided neccessary security until new Herkules transport aircraft landed with reinforcements and materiel. First ones to land is the Ghurka battalion. Ghurkas, as right after landing, are hastily sent to prepare defences along the airfield walls. One of the companies is provided to support the engineers in removal of debriss remaining. Furthermore, a first company of Coldstream Guards landed minutes ago and they are now unloading their gear and vehicles.

Yet, it soon becomes clear that that Saudis understand the threat and danger of this airfield being in NATO hands. Thus, what is left of local National Guard is organized into new battle formation and well supported with regular units from Khalid City that are now battle ready. Among them, there are dangerous M60 Patton tanks with good quality nightvision equipment and heavily mechanized formations.

In the peak of the night, all of that moves against the airfield. Can Ghurkas hold what Paras captured? If this proves to be true, Coldstream Guards could possibly counterattack and secure the road leading to King Khalid City.

*
It seems nighttime in Arabia will not be calm at all. It will be a blast.
