105 mm wz.13 field guns were French WWI-vintage*
Schneider mle 1913 guns. Along with more modern *
wz.29 they were used in Polish heavy artillery*
units, despite a range of wz.13 guns (12 km) was *
lower, than of newest opponents of the same class.*
*
Both types of 105 mm guns were used in heavy*
artillery detachments of all 30 regular infantry*
divisions (a battery of three 105 mm guns in each).*
*
They were also used in eight wartime heavy artillery*
regiments, each with twelve 105 mm cannons in three*
four-gun batteries (along with 155 mm howitzers). *
*
There were 118 of wz.13 guns in inventory. *
All were horse-drawn.*
