The most common Polish military motorcycle in 1939*
was heavy CWS M111 aka Sokol 1000 (995ccm) with*
a sidecar, designed in Poland (pictured). Over 1600*
were used by the Army by 1939, not counting*
mobilized ones.*

The second standard military type was Sokol 600*
(573ccm), with a sidecar (atypically, on left side)*
or solo.*
There were also other lighter solo motorcycles used,*
mostly requisitioned.*

In 1940 there were used different French motorcycles*
like Gnome-Rhone, Gillet, Terrot*
and US-built Indian 340B. *
