Citroen-Kegresse halftracks were bought in France*
in early 1930s and mainly used as artillery*
tractors.*
A variant for a light artillery was P17, a variant*
for a heavy artillery: P14.*

The Citroens-Kegresse were mainly used in the*
1st Motorized Artillery Regiment. In mid-1930s they*
were largely replaced with Polish C4P halftracks,*
but remained to be used in mobilized units.*

Citroen-Kegresse P17 were used  in September 1939*
in the 2nd Motorized Artillery Detachment of Warsaw*
Motorized -Armoured Brigade), towing 75mm wz.97*
field guns on rubber tires (8 x 75mm guns).*

The Citroens from naval company of AA-searchlights*
were adapted as artillery tractors for 75mm guns*
of the Naval Light Artillery Detachment,*
subordinated to the Land Coastal Defence HQ.*
The Detachment took part in the defence of Polish*
coast.*
