10TP was a prototype of Polish wheel-cum-track tank,*
inspired by classic Christie design. The works upon*
"a'la Christie" tank started after Chrisite broke*
contract and refused to deliver his tank, ordered*
by Poland, in 1930.*
*
The prototype was completed in July 1938.*
An armament was 37mm Bofors gun and 7.92mm CMG in*
a turret unified with 7TP tank, and 7.92mm BMG.*
Tests came out well, with some faults, but it was*
rightly decided, that wheel drive was impractical,*
and a better solution would be fully tracked tank,*
with stronger armour, what led to 14TP tank project.*
*
A fate of the 10TP prototype is not known, it might*
have been stripped down for building 14TP prototype*
(probably it was made of ordinary steel).*
