Light artillery detachments (battalions) were armed with twelve 75 mm wz.1897 guns or twelve 100 mm wz.14/19 howitzers in three four-gun batteries. *
Three detachments constituted Light Artillery Regiments of infantry Divisions. The regiment usually had two detachments with 75mm guns and one with 100mm howitzers, some regiments had one gun
detachment and two howitzer ones.*
All the guns were horse-drawn, apart from two motorized detachments of two Polish motorized brigades.*
