Our forces were unable to put up more than token resistance at the bridges and were all but brushed aside by XXX Corps. Since the allies are able to advance across the Waal in good order already on the 19th, they might actually reach Arnhem bridge in time to rescure Frost's men.
* This result is worse than the historical one. In real life, the attack on Nijmegen on the 19th failed, forcing the allies to mount a desperate river crossing the next day.
