Random Commander Mod

Replaces the scout with a random commander from that nation

Version history:
0.01 - first release

0.02 - Added random 2nd starting commander as well.  No troops.

0.03 - Added random nation troops to starting commander.  You now have a chance to start with any of your nations troops (up to 15 of one kind and 10 of another).  The more valuable the troop, the more likely you will have fewer of them. i.e. it is possible but unlikely that you will end up with 15 Hydras to start.

Compatibility - Unfortunately, this mod is not compatible with other mods that replace the scout with a different unit.  It won't work with any new nations by default, but can be changed to be compatible with new nation mods.  If interested let me know and I can tell you how to make it work.

Installation instructions:  Unzip this file (keep directory structure intact) to the mods directory in the Dominions 3 game directory.  You should get a rdm_cmdr directory, but no .dm file (the program will generate it).

Usage:  Run the Dom3_Random_Commander Executable located in the rdm_cmdr directory, it will create a rdm_commander.dm file in the directory one level above the executable (which should put it in the mods directory).  Play the game...when you create a new game it should give you a random commander instead of a scout.

Alt. Usage:  Run the dom3_rdm_commander.bat file to run the randomizer and then start dominions 3.

Note:  You need to run the executable each time you create a new game, otherwise you will get the same set of "random" commanders that you did the previous game.

Note2:  The AI also gets random commanders.
