I am also interested in taking over for Jotunheim. It looks like arcanist may have beaten me to it. But should that fail I would be up for it. One more thing is that I have just ordered the game and not recieved it yet (hopefully within a week) so Pasha would probably have to play Jotunheim defensively for a few turns until I got the game and could take it over. If you folks are interested in taking me up on my offer, just let me know.

I think the master assasin has a cloak of shadows. Perhaps hire him and kill him for it.

Well good. I am glad to hear that we have possible substitutes.

Also, we might have room for a substitute in the Random - No Diplomacy Game, too, if someone is interested. That is not a newbie game, but there are less experienced players in that game, too.

My Roaming in Wyoming
 

Hi Guys:

I leave for Wyoming from this Friday (Aug 19) through Wednesday. Unless there is a substitute host (which can be a major pain and invitation for mess-ups), I would suggest that we just put the game on hold while I am away.

But... I am myself a substitute host in this game. What do you guys want?

I thought I sent my turn too...but, in any case, new development means just go ahead with no turn for me (internet access at our flat died, so I have to ferry turns and orders between work, meaning at least another day before I get orders to you....so just go ahead and give me a stale turn heh, maybe I'll do better that way anyways...)

I find that for some reason sometimes a player's .2h file does not "read" as if it played the latest turn. The problem usually goes away when the file is resent. It does not happen too often.

Terminus the Master Assasin goes looking for a suitable victim.
There is a deathmatch scheduled, who will risk a commander for 150+ experience and a nice cursed magic item.

Yes, me too. Of course, I'm only 3rd in ranking, but I will fight to the bitter end.

And I don't have all turns saved... I was saving them, but at one point I said why and deleted some. So I only have from turn 26 on.

It definitely would be interesting to see everybody else's turns.

Hi Guys:

Turn 50 is out.

Let's put this game on a more strict hosting schedule. How about this:

Turns will be hosted every Thursday, Sunday and Tuesday, and players will be expected to submit their turns to the host by 9:00 pm eastern standard time (same time as the east coast in the USA).

This way, y'all will know when to expect things to happen.

So, this would mean that the next turn will be hosted on Sunday night.

Well my pretender just went toe-to-toe with Machaka's, and I won. Okay, there was an army around us, and he was fatigued by the time I "limped" over to him. But it was still cool.

He should fall this next turn.
