When trying to download the new turn my game crashes (nagot gick fell), with the message: 'got bad package from server'

I'm computer illiterate, so I'm willing to listen to any suggestions.

Just keep trying over and over again. Eventually it will download.

Yes, I have had to try to download upto 6 or so times.

I assumed it was because you are hosting the game on a older machine or have a slow internet connection but that's just a guess. Like Amhazair I am not very tech orientated, Gandalf Parker seems to be the helpful tech person around here in case you want to ask him.

Since the turn ran with several people stalling because they couldnt connect, I restored the backup copy which gets saved right before the hosting.

Even if you think you have done this turn, go ahead and check it.

It's not like anyone is dying because he can't submit his turn for a little while. (I think - never underestimate the powers of addiction, obviously)
