I can't access PBW. Strangely, my browser never gives up and displays an error message, it just keeps on trying with no result.

I'm getting the same. The server had a hiccup yesterday morning, and apparently we haven't completely sorted it out yet.

Ok, actually it appears the problem is with the DNS server. The PBW site is up and running, just hard to get to. You should be able to use the IP address for the time being to connect. http://69.81.87.189

PBW seems to be in danger of timing out when I try to get it. I usually quit after a minute or two. Incidentally, have you turned off automatic turns?. One of my games has an absent host and the players are waiting for the next turn.

The PBW server has been flaky since yesterday morning. Before it got into the never-loading state you're seeing now, it was throwing Out Of Memory errors on almost anything you tried to do.

I don't think Geo still has notifications set on this thread. I'll e-mail him a reminder to make sure he knows there's a problem.

I've been working and doing homework. Didn't know we had a problem till just now. Usually someone emails me pretty quickly when it acts up. It should be ok now.

Today the problem appears to be on the DNS side.

PBW can be accessed via the direct IP address Geo gave a few posts ago.

Interestingly enough, I can ping PBW, but can't access it in a browser. Did someone shut down the webserver component by mistake?

I did a tracert with no luck. I thought about a ping but decided if a tracert didn't work neither would a ping. hmm.

The server was down for a good part of the day yesterday, but was back up sometime last evening. (I forget when I found it was back.)

Yep, you're the second person to report that. I've e-mailed the other admins about it. (I don't know why it keeps happening, or how to fix it.)

PBW has been giving an "internal server error" the past few minutes - using either the text or graphic interfaces; the interface selection menu (http://seiv.pbw.cc) is just fine.

No, things were back to normal within a few hours.

I probably wouldn't have bothered posting about it if I hadn't been reading these forums when I discovered that the direct address was working. PBW is usually back up by the time I see a report here that it's down.
