Why does this always happen?

I get a start that I am happy with. Everything goes according to plan, maybe even better than I planned for.

Then people quit and start staling.

Never seems to happen in games where I have an unlucky start and the RNG works against me...

Frankly, if i wanted to play a game like this, i could as well just play against the AI. What have i been doing for the last 10 or 15 turns ? Basicly, conquering indis, churning out fortresses and building research guys. This map is far too huge for the few of us. In addition to having far too many provs, money setting is too high as well.
We are 6 players and the game was planned for Players: 8-12. Playing this game is a waste of time to me. Im sorry i didnt post this 2 weeks ago.

The game was planned with different settings than normal but with a reasonable number of players. The micromagement is already annoying and it's turn 15 and I'm not even at war with anyone yet. I'm inclined to quit as well to be honest.

Well... maybe it would be better then if we quit this or just leave it to the ppl who would like to play on regardless. (Me, for example).

If everyone wanted to soldier on then I would be fine with it.

I have similar feelings to Admiral and Ragnorak. Too big a map for the number of players. Its been pretty boring to date honestly.

I would appreciate it if the admin would set me to AI or whatever it takes so i dont receive turnfiles anymore.
