You always need to take the engagement situation into account when watching such videos.

Is the F-22 designed/intended to be a "dogfight" aircraft? No.
It's intended to attack from outside visual and radar (due to it's reduced radar signature it can see further then it can be seen from via radar) range.

Put anything into a situation it's not designed for it will perform sub optimally.

Like anything. The best sumo wrestler in the world is not going to outrun the best runner and the best runner isn't going to stand a chance against that sumo in a wrestling match

That's why this guy is quite good he says as much & is impartial which is unusual.
Did not realise its common in a guns only scenario to try & take other kills despite the fact you cannot claim them.
I was surprised the Rafale could get down to 80 knots. He wasn't as he has flown them but did comment it was outside its performance envelope.

I'm sure this is already said, but air to air combat is possible in the game

1. Load a stinger into a c130
2. Drop off the stinger
3. The stinger will fire at enemy aircraft

Paradropping 1 ammo air to air weapons is identical to a dogfight.
