random population type

Hey, so I have designed a map but for some reason every time I start a game on the map it seems like 90% of the provinces are populated by militia, light/heavy infantry and cavallary. No tribe warriors, woodsmen, hoburgs or other more special population types appear. How can I randomize the map with more special population types?

I think that is mostly controlled by the age. If you start the game in late age then you would get more militia. If you start it in early age you should get more tribes.

But you also can SET the poptype on the map.
Its in the map editing manual in the dominions 3 /doc directory

Here is a quick reference list of the commands that can be used on a map.
