Guided Artillery
 
Would a simulation of guided artillery use a spotter, with a weapon using a top-attack type weapon slot, to simulate the spotter guiding the shell onto the target?

I suppose laser-guided bombs and shells could use this also.

LOL, that means such a unit could op-fire giuded artilley, and LGB's.
