Random talk about sequel and engines.
You guys have no idea what I would do for Digital Eel to use a Torque 2D or even the 3D Engine for a sequel. :(
I say this because I have been playing SPAZ (Space Pirate and Zombies) constantly for the past week. I feel like it would be a good direction to go in. If anyone of you haven't already played the demo, it's like Star Control/Sins of a Solar Empire. I'd love to see something similar in the Strange Adventures/Weird Worlds universe. SPAZ is available on Impulse by the way. |
Re: Random talk about sequel and engines.
Yeah my friend, most of WW players ask the same question like you- can we have a re-newed/ beefed up version of the game anytime soon eg tomorrow? :) I don't see much chance since the forum is soooo quiet for a long time about WW.
But if they are cooking something in the dark I'd definietly would be a junkie to pay for that... So please... This universe is so much fun to be abandoned... |

If anyone is interested in S.P.A.Z, it has a sister game. It's called Starfarer. It's located at http://fractalsoftworks.com/

Re: Random talk about sequel and engines.
It will receive a 3D sequel as the Kickstarter mentioned here: http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=49680 was successful. Really looking forward to it!
BTW, all Weird Worlds fans should check out FTL as well, another great alternative besides Space Pirates and Zombies or Starfarer. Here's it's webpage: http://www.infinitespacegames.com/seaofstars/ |
