Switch for old computer ?

I read somewhere (don't remember where exactly) that there is a switch to play with an old computer. Since I'm unable to find this post again, please can someone post this switch again ?

In fact I play with a new computer with only a graphic chipset and no graphic card...

Mac, Windows, or Linux?
The switches can be found here...

but for examples on how to use them we would need to know what operating system you are trying to run it on.

Yep I know how to add switch at the end of the command line.
