Proportions and Balance mod for SE4 Gold?
 

Howdy all,

It's been a LONG time since I've been here, ever since I got disenchanted with SE5. How is everybody?

So...last night I fired up SE4 again and wanted to play it...

But I noticed that I now have SE4 gold and can't find the Balance or Proportions mod. Those are the two I used to play...I looked around here and couldn't find them for SE4 Gold and it's been so long since I looked at all this that I have forgotten whether the old mods will work with gold or not.

So...can anybody point me towards Balance and Proportions mods for SE4 gold?

Balance Mod is a SE5 mod. One place to look for mods is on the SE Wiki:

Also, make sure to apply the SE4 Deluxe patches to get up to date:

Thanks Fyron, I'll check them out! I got confused re: balance mod. I thought there was a similar mod for SE4 at some point, was that the quadrant mod you put together?

Oh, and, all the mods work with deluxe or vanilla, right? (that's what it looks like to me...)

some of the older mods you need to the startmenu file in the mods \Pictures\Game\Dialogs folder or the game will hang when you try the mod.

Actually, I made both the SE4 Proportions Mods and a PvK Balance Mod for SE4 (which modded the costs of empire starting stuff).

My web site has been down for a while, and I have not been logging on to the forums in a long time In theory these forums will email me. I do have all the files if anyone wants them.
