Release question
 

Looking forward to this game. I know when there is a launch date we will be informed, but I am just wondering if there is any idea which month the game will be launched. I get paid monthly, so I would really like to know which month I need to plan on saving a little money.

Sorry, that's how we get in trouble. "But you guys said it would be out in _____ and now it's _____ and it's still not out!" :)

Typically though we'll announce a pre-order phase once there is a firm release date, so you should have an idea of the actual release date about a month out.

There's always the duke nukem forever way, collect preorders for over a decade and then release something. :P

I agree whole heartedly. I can wait until its ready,...definately dont rush it.

Yeah thats the way the big guys play. Give advance money, advertise ahead of time, then they have to give the developer absolute completion dates to hit. We have all seen that go bad.

BUT..... Shrapnel is so much nicer on fast profit splitting. Will there be a chance to advance purchase the game? Aaron has the complete trust of many of us. It would be our way to guilt him... umm.... I mean show our support in this cause.

Something I just thought of is if you're budgeting for it then maybe just set some money aside and put it into the World Supremacy cookie jar. That way you'll have it ready to go when it releases.

And sorry, the price has not been determined so I can't tell you how much to put away, but I can say it'll be more than $5 but less than $100. :)
