500!

Woot! My 500th post which I felt deserved a whole new topic.
Sadly that's a silly idea so to avoid a complete waste of a post I present the latest version of the Eep mod. As it got 37 downloads last time it's possible someone might look at it. It's main features are a complete lack of balance, a stab at different ship development, a few new weapons, far more effective fighters and my clear bias towards rail guns as being a wonderful weapons. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif |
Re: 500!
Eep? mod?

Re: 500!
A mod called Eep. Why I don't know, but it is.
|
Re: 500!
Is there a page for it?
|
Re: 500!
Hmm, you misspelled the name of the mod in the filename http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif
edit: and you do realize that extracting the file into the SE4 directory would overwrite the stock data files??? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/eek.gif That's why most mods' zip files contain a main mod directory... |
Re: 500!
Well
A. It isn't finished B. It works for me C. I wasn't actually expecting anyone to try it D. I just made a mistake. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...es/redface.gif There is no page, there is only a vauge plan for this mod. I want more theoretical tech. I want development in ships, not just size, so you can get a dreadnought sized ship really early, its just expensive and doesn't get any good mounts. On the other hand you get a destroyer sized hull later on with excellent PD mounts, maintenance reduction and in-hull sensors. That's the rough plan. It may even be finished and, dare I say it, balanced one day. |
