Path to game has changed
 

Hi; My opponent and I are both getting the security alert "path to game has changed". I am getting it as soon as I save the game (talking version 2.0, PBEM). Any ideas what could be causing this? I have not changed the install directory of the game, and we have played about 5 turns before this bandit showed up.

Was the game started after the patch had been installed in both games?

Any chance one of you has multiple copies of the game on your HD and put the turn into the wrong one??

The game was started in version 2.0. Neither of us has different installs of the game, that was the first thing I thought of too.

Would maybe a system format cause this crash? I had to format my system (just the C drive) but I am sure we played 2 turns since then. Just a thought though.

ANY change can upset the security. Formatting your system may have done that. Start another one and see how that goes
