List of Spells? I realize this is probably a stupid question and I'm missing something obvious, but is there a list of spells out there that includes national spells from all the nations that were created since the manual was printed? I've been away from the game for a year or so, and I'm curious about the national summons for the new nations. |

Re: List of Spells? Hmmm, I don't think so. Some of them are mentioned on the progress page (http://ulm.illwinter.com/dom3/dom3progress.html) but many are not. DrPraetorious' database may have info if you want the AoE/Damage/Range/etc. numbers. -Max |

Re: List of Spells? Is there a simple way to find out the National Summons for nations? Is there an in-game mechanic I'm missing for discovering the school/path/gem cost? |

Re: List of Spells? Scan the spell list for purple spells. The tricky part is finding out the stats for the units, which means either downloading a debug mod or checking Edi's unit database. -Max |

Re: List of Spells? All national summon spells won't be in Conjuration, although most are. LA Abysia gets some in Enchantment (Earth/Death spell, something to do about fossils). There are also some totally new, non-national spells. Green Lions in high Alteration and Hidden in Sand in Enchantment. |

Re: List of Spells? green lion u mean the vetriol? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif about that, how do you guys use it, has someone found a nice, even niche use? i am too early in my current game (actually, i'm even on holiday far from home now ^^) so I am just curious to see what can that thing do. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif i was really curious when i saw that new, strange summon in the new patch. |

Re: List of Spells? The Green Lions from Manifest Vitriol are very interesting. Their breath is acid, so cannot be resisted, and hits multiple targets for rather devastating damage. I haven't tried them against a real opponent yet (not many mages come with F+W), but when I did some test summons, they absolutely annihilated normal chaff. For 2 gems apiece they seem to be quite lovely, if you can get proper blockers in front of them, and their spit doesn't hit your own troops. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...ies/tongue.gif Maybe use Wind Guide, if you have Air mages. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif |
