OT - I need a dose of sobriety

Two phrases I keep thinking :
Catch The Hot Potato Will It Go Round In Circles I had to try for three hours to get through because either the computer crashed or the link to Aol failed. So please respond soon and seriously..... |

No offense, but would not this post have fit into your current "OT - bored with gaming ? Get philosophy!" thread? Was there a real need for starting a second thread? If you feel that there was a real reason, though, and that the old thread is outdated, then all should be OK.
Please note that I didn't just lock up this thread - your opinion matters! http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/images/icons/icon7.gif It's just that this thread's content might be more in-line with your other current thread, and thus might be better served there. You are probably correct. I just thought that some people might not want to open up a thread which had the things I posted in it.

I did not mean that there should be any discussion of the two things I was thinking. I was pointing out why I really needed to get off of humor for a while. Actually once I posted I had to do a reboot because the computer I use crashed. Then I found something which helped when I got back on Aol. So what I really had in mind was more in the line of cautionary sayings. I remember very few of those. As an example :
As Ye Sow, So Shall Ye Reap Are there any others which are more effective available ? |

The essence of things like this was what I had in mind :

The Khan had a simply rule - kill them ALL and let their many Gods sort them out. [This message has been edited by LCC (edited 02 September 2001).] |
