cannot load sound file
 

So I create a game, decide I don't like it, quit dom3 completely, then when I restart I get the cannot load sound file.

I did nothing in the meantime, any suggestions?

On 2nd thought, I did delete a saved game folder, so maybe that did something, but I can't figure out what or why.

Might be that you accidentally deleted a sound file. Try reinstalling the game to restore the missing file.

Yes that was apparently the issue, though its weird since I only deleted 2 game folders, no sound folder.

The rawsounds folder was untouched by me, but the reinstall/repatch cleared up the issue. I guess the lesson is to only delete games from inside dom3.
