I have posted v1.3 of my Mod1

its also available on PBW - if you give it a whirl I would sure be interested to know how it goes.
Some of the features : You can research the Stellar Cloaking device (cloak a planet!), a new ruins tech "sector cloaking device" (Slightly weaker than the Stellar cloak, but cheaper and faster to build), fighter missiles, faster seekers , regenerating engines ....
