Counter-counter battery fire

One of my MARS off-board section on CB mission just got hit by counter-counter battery fire. :doh:
Playing against the AI(Soviet Union) as Germany in 1986. Smart move by the AI as my section had fired CB missions in the two previous turns. :D

While we're on the topic, I had a CB strike from my own arty destroy an enemy 76mm battery a few days ago. Does that count as a "kill" for purposes of experience?

Of course. Count the kill markers.
