Belmont, 1861 - Scenario for WinSPCW
 

Hi guys -

I'm ashamed to admit, but I've been away from SP for quite a while. I started getting back into my Civil War mod, and though I don't know the extent of interest from the community in this mod, here's a new scenario for it, the battle of Belmont.

This was a raid conducted by US Grant in the first year of the war, against a Confederate encampment near the now-extinct Missouri town of Belmont on the Mississippi River. This is your typical ACW infantry combat fare, but with gunboats and river batteries added.

Btw, I wonder why I can't get your scen to appear in scenario list... I renamed files and moved them into scen-folder. I can't get it appear in Map Editor too:( What I did wrong?

I can’t imagine why.. it’s scenario 13. I’ll take a look when I get home this evening.

I renamed them as follows:
Spcn003.cmt
Spcn003.dat
Spcn003

OK?

Ah I just forgot to use scen* thing in beginning! Forget whole thing:D It's ok now.

Sorry still problems here... I renamed all into *004 slot (I remember that first 3 are just for PBEM games). Scenario name show in scenario list but it don't seem to launch after pressing "start":O. I tried to open scenario in Editor but same thing there. Mystic, isn't it?

Doh. Okay I messed whole thing. Your mod is for SPWW2, ok? I somehow messed everything and tried to copy all files to SPWAW Civil War version;)... I had HD crash earlier this year and lost all SP games. I just noticed that I have not yet installed your mod.
