Is it New Math?
I have a standard Exploration ship based on a small transport hull:
bridge, etc 5 engines 1 supply 3 sat bays 3 cargo bays 1 cs missile When I load up on Sats - it holds 8! Let's see: 3 sat bays + 3 cargo = 6 Okay - I give up! Where do the extra 2 sats get stashed? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif |
Re: Is it New Math?
It loads according to the cargo storage capability. lvl 1 sat bay=80, lvl 1 cargo=150, total storage space=690kt, small satellite = 80kt x 8=640kt.
The problem you will find is that cargo bays cannot launch satellites, only transfer them via cargo transfer, but not into empty space. [ July 22, 2002, 15:47: Message edited by: Gandalph ] |

Large Transports filled with Supply Bays would make great fleet-resupply ships ... !!). |
Re: Is it New Math?
I didn't want the ship to hold just 6 - I just wanted to know where the extra 2 fit in and now I do.
Thnx. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif [ July 22, 2002, 22:43: Message edited by: Elowan ] |
