MODding question:

Question: A number of plasma weapons in the component.txt file of the B5 mod START at high levels (> 5). How would the AI handle research if 1/2 or more of the tech weapons are missing? In other words is this a problem for the AI?

The Wave Motion Gun works the same way.

The AI doesn't care about components directly; rather it just goes down a list of research AREAS.
