Space Empires: Legacies - the roleplay community
 

Hello everyone, you might have heard, seen or even been at the Space Empires: Legacies role-playing community.
We've been around for quite some time now, slowly developing into a full-fledged RP community.
We are not done yet but major changes and progresses are nearing, and right now we are looking for new people to join us - we've grown into a very tight-knit group of friends but we need some new blood http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

so if you are interested in role-playing your empire, this is your perfect chance! the community is adaptable and can be stretched to fit many people and options, and we welcome everyone - you dont have to be an experienced roleplayer or writer to join. two additions: first, the system is nearing a revamp and will be moving soon. i dont yet know where, but it will.

second - i strongly encourage you to contact either of us if you are interested. i can tell you we're serious in what we're doing - we've been at it for a long time and we'll see to it that we actually do something that will work.

well BUMP again, im dissapointed - so many people here are constantly roleplaying in their PBW games and no one willing to try a real role-playing community? cmon.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'm not sure how much you know about the new ladder being setup, but it is to be based entirely on actual PBW games that are manipulated for a slower pace that suits active roleplay. I'm not sure if the forums are up again (they seemed to be down for a few days? Fyron will post the correct info after reading this I'm sure) but they contain some more info on how the new ladder will operate. No offense is intended, but I think most people (maybe just me?) don't find unsubstantuated roleplay all that fun/interesting since it has no boundaries that protect it from silliness that has plagued such roleplays in the past.

Anyways, don't get discouraged! If you create a good product then I'm sure that you'll have some success - it might just take some time!

yes captain kwok, i know of ladder being developed. lets not get into this discussion here.

what yes, the Space Empires: Legacies is a more of free-form roleplay. We are emphasizing the role-play aspects of the races, not the actual game.
