Ok, here's my suggestion for tweaking the size of domed planets:

Make them size 2/4/6/8/10 instead of 1/2/3/4/5, that would reduce the gas dwellers average facility space advantage from 11% to 6%,...

Another way to compensate for that advantage would be to make gas giants slightly less numerous than their icey/rocky counterparts. I suspect that this is probably the method Fyron used in balancing...

Interestingly enough, the Urka-Tal only asked for "recent" tech, IIRC, it was I who switched to "current tech" and they agreed - and then within the next dozend turns they made tech exchange treaties...

I agree the AI needs "more" planets because it's generally building quite ineffectively, and does not understand how plan ahead for balanced ressource production....

Then the AI should at least check for colonsation tech/home planet type .. it does not make much sense to intersettle with someone who has the same planet type.

I really hate to say that - but BM is broken atm ... as the AI is all to eager to offer intersettling treaties.
Especially "bad" are the Abbidons, which in my current game offered...

- Why do you keep Kamikaze Ships from being resupplied and retrofitted? They are set to join fleets, therefore they would "drag down" all other ships if running low on supplies,...
