The test situation that I was using was ten BaseShips attacking a Star Base with Null weapons, Multiplex 5, and a Talisman to make sure that the SB always hits. I had the attacking fleet purposely...

I know this thread is based on missiles, but I have experienced situations where the platforms won't fire on multiple ships with DIRECT FIRE weapons. They will destroy one ship, but not fire the rest...

I just tested this in strategic combat it seems that bases only fire on one target - I know that this was discussed before for 1.49, but I thought this would have been fixed by now. Maybe my testing...

How do you beat the Talisman?

Has anyone come up with a way to consistantly beat a religious race in tactical combat once they get the Talisman?

When I play a religious tech race I always max out my defense.

Another ambiguity in the rules.

The way it works is scanner tech level beats equivalent cloaking tech level - and a level x cloak prevents a level x scan.

So cloaking 1 and stealth armor...
