From what I understand they are to be small computer guided ships, very hard and tricky to code. I know it being worked on but probably low on the priority list.

Check the stragy for the ship. It needs to be set to board ships. I would guess it is currently set to don't get hurt.

The base mount mods were added to prevent the missile dance being done on them and to simulate the fact that you can put a much bigger weapon on a base than you can on a ship.

Don't forget with the latest patch a target doesn't have to be destroyed before teh AI changes targets. That could be having an impact too.

Um coordinate attacks? Probably but you know space travel in not an exact science and Allies have been known to dally once in awhile. ( That why we still testing the darn thing!)

1 forget firing arc that is too tactiacl and the computer could nto handle it.

2 Formation none in tatical there is an option button. Click on it and a menu will show up with like 9...

I don't think they do since 1 fleet will get there first. SO the first fleet will encounter the mines, then the second one. They only way to make sure is to have them as a fleet.

They will now have to put in a limitation on the number of EP you can have. I think it should be equal to the number of engines you have.

Baron,

When I think of the specifically targeted weapons I don't think that they "destroy" the weapon as much as make it unfunctionable. Example a beam weapon of any sort need a exit...

Geo,

I believe that colonly ships check each turn for the shortest distance to a destination. What happened in your games seems to have proved that out. Very nice for a computer to do that on its...

Those 2 classes of ship were all that was left when they left to find earth. I am sure during the war they had more than 1 class of warship.

SR can be good on bases where they are not the main target or against missile using races. Take a hit and while they reload you recharge. Also helps prevent using shield reducing weapons.
