Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)

Huh, so the battle replay of me finally storming Kailasia's last province - the capitol - shows me as rather easily beating them down and they routed (which was pretty much the obvious outcome). But...

Re: Sneak Attack!

Wow. That's the first time I've seen someone break a pact. But at least he role played it slightly. I'll definitely remember, should we be in the same game, not to bother making 'deals' with him...

Re: SP and MP Poll

While I agree with Stryke11 and Lingchih completely, I also very much enjoy playing MP despite some folks blessing to kingdom come and/or rushing new people, drunk people, and those with crapster...

Re: Game: Scorned Land (open)

I'd like to back out of this game. The inception seems rather. Uh. Confused. And I predict there will be more weirdness in the future. *shrug*

Re: Discordance - Random Nations, Late Era (Signup

I surrender to R'lyeh despite never encountering their zany forces. Nice job. I never once saw anything that happened to the West there, but apparently there was too much infighting and they...

Re: Huge Bug - Devs?

So this has happened before, Edi? Any idea what the 'wonky replay' was about? I mean, hey, I don't mind watching another battle next turn as he re-storms the castle, but the only way I can imagine...

Re: Huge Bug - Devs?

Hmmm, well I suspect I'm seeing the same deal that Jazzepi does, which was the obvious outcome of course. He did take loses, but I doubt they were anywhere near that high (busy today and don't have...

Re: Lucky Event Bug

I've been playing with Luck 3 in the Utterdark game and I've never had so many bad events (we're around turn forty or so, though some of us will be leaving soon heheh ...

Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)

OOC of course, and great hosting seej - regarding the general deadline question, I would be okay with extending it to 48 hours, but only if everyone else is. If a single person isn't, I think we...

Re: RE: Internet Connection

Yeah come on, Eressil3, you should have been pleased I even gave you warning about the tallmen. And it wasn't like you were going to help our Inquisitors anyway - you offered nothing of substance...

Re: RE: Internet Connection

My positioning was extremely unfortunate regarding independents, and a few bad events knocked me out down there in the corner. Goofy map, ultimately. My little roleplaying attempts at diplomacy to...

Re: RE: Internet Connection

Poor cornered Marignon's 'fire' has been extinguished before anything but meanie early Independents and a dormant God could occupy its time as the mighty tallmen struck claim to the entire East - was...

Re: Afterthought - Random Nations, Middle Era (Sig

I can't connect either. It crashes Dominions and locks up other windows like Firefox (in XP). Other servers/PBEMs etc. work normally.

Re: Dud nations

I'm sorry, but perhaps you're thinking that a mass of overly-expensive Guardians of the Pyre and some Falling Fires casting scared, err I mean sacred, units are going to take anyone down with...

Re: Dud nations

Wish, if you're telling me that Guardian of the Pyres are worth 55g and 28r with stats that can't match up with FAR cheaper units of other nations I suspect you've never played Abysia in MP.

But...

Re: Dud nations

Haven't read the entire thread in one sitting, but upon glossing, I'd like anyone to tell me why LA Abysia isn't utter crap. Or were we supposed to stick to EA only? Heh. Anyway, LA Abysia gets my...

Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)

Wow, that's a great idea, johnarryn... some sort of spy network that applies a percentage to the accuracy of graphs or something. Could even be implemented on a nation basis, thus easy to slap into...

Re: Boiling the Ocean (Organizing)

Riiiiight, the fact that T'ien Ch'i leads in at least three, if not four, of the score charts - and the important ones at that, doesn't mean anything at all, eh, buddy?

Poor guy. Leave him alone....

Re: Afterthought - Random Nations, Middle Era (Sig

I have noticed that diplomatic efforts and agreements often get confused, at least in larger games. What I've started doing is writing down what I've agreed to. Or better yet, use the forum mail...
