Re: OT: Hell is For Heroes.

Well, that answers the question I did not ask... about how 15,000 warships were supporting themselves out there. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif But that doesn't answer the...

Re: OT: Hell is For Heroes.

Well, there were so many plot twists maybe I've lost count/track of characters. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif Or maybe it's not so much the characters (although I do wonder...

Re: OT: Hell is For Heroes.

Re: OT: D&D 4e or: Wanna slaughter some minions?

Holy collectors' items, Batman! I have a whole bag of D&D dice from the 1980s in all shapes and sizes. If new ones are $2 each I wonder what my 'vintage' dice are worth?...

Re: Ver 1.74 patch with Balance Mod?

What I'd like to see is some more shipsets/races adapted to the Balance mod. Has anyone written an new AI compatible with the Balance Mod for any 3rd party shipsets?

Re: OT: Suggestions for getting to sleep?

A late thought: I find it interesting that no one suggested music or sound. The right kind of music (classical or maybe certain 'new age' stuff) can be very relaxing. Also, there are "sound effects"...

Re: [OT] A flash game ...

Cool game, though it gets too difficult too fast. I had to play it at the library because my old machine isn't nearly powerful enough to run it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

Re: OT: Repository of quotations

Ah, but I've been collecting for years. I'd have to upload my quotes collection as a file, it'd be too much for a message. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif So, what are you...

Re: OT: Anti-virus / firewall solutions

Plain old AVG seems adequate. The various ratings sites say it isn't that effective, but it seems to work for an awful lot of people. Avast and CLAM AV are good free options, as well.
